Rezki on Thursday

Rez is a very loving cat and loves attention. He sits on this mat (his own) and waits for me for some alone time every day. So we spend time after dinner and before everyone needs to rest.

Sleepy Sunday

All the kitties spent the afternoon napping, even Rezki who went for his first walk downstairs this morning. 

It was only for about 30 minutes as it was his first time downstairs in a harness after  6 months inside. 

Rezki on Saturday

It wasn't too bad at the cat sitter. I had many admirers who said I was handsome. My fur got brushed everyday by the human. I got used to it. But I am glad to be back. I plan to yell this human's house down (he has been meowing very very loudly, as though he is using all his strength in his yells). (He will keep it up for about 10 minutes then he quietens down.)

Monday night fiasco

      Akira's pajamas came yesterday 

I thought I should get her something that would protect her limbs from her incessant overgrooming. 

She was wrapped up like a pancake and she did not know how to move in it. 

I had to roll up her sleeves so she could walk. 

She was very resigned. Her belly was exposed though but this would allow her to feel cool. She wore the pjs for an hour only but I think I would give up this idea as it would be too hot to wear in Singapore. Time to think of something else. 

Sunny Sunday

This Sunday we are just sitting inside. The day is very hot although the weatherman advised that there would be thundery showers. These people do not seem to know what they are talking about. Cats know better and I advised San to stay inside. 

Popsicle Popps on Saturday

We just wanted to show off our Popps in her nice red collar sitting by her fav window (for now). The grey kitty used to belong to our rainbow kitty Totoro.

Her face is still ok despite it being close to a month that she had had her injection. We are no longer using bleach in the kitchen bathroom. We are also following the advice of one of our visitors who told us about the Vit C and Vit B.  We did our own research at Tanya CRF site (since Popps is a CRF kitty) and the advice was to give her 1/10 vit B. 1/10 of a human dose per day and if it's 1000mg then Popps should get 100mg. She gets 150 mg Vit C as well. Surprisingly she allowed us to give her the mixture in the syringe. This is the second week she is on it. We hope at last we have found a remedy for her.

Just Because

I minded my own business and did not do the meet and greet this Hari Raya. It wasn't so bad as people left me alone. San told them that I needed to rest. Here I was sitting next to the window in san's bedroom. There was a slight drizzle so the breeze was cool. 

Just Because

      Today I need all the rest I can get

Because tomorrow I have meet and greet for Hari Raya Haji. 

Saturday Thots

I had to put Rez with a friend who is a cat sitter last Thursday as there would be many people in the house next week because of Hari Raya Haji. He stayed in his carrier but played with the sitter so he will be ok. He will be there for 2 weeks. 

When I came home without him B was surprised. He spent a long time looking for Rez as he was walking around the kitchen and rooms for some time. I told him about Rez but he was undeterred. So I asked Fern to speak with him yesterday. 

Fern:

Bujang: Before I could ask him anything, he gave me doubts and wonders. So I immediately explained to him that Rezki has to be away for some time. He said "poor boy", and he is concerned that Rezki could feel bad that he has been moved here and there often. So I explained to him that there would be a lot of people coming to his place, thus it may not be convenient and Rezki may not handle it well, so it's better to have him stay somewhere else temporary. I told him that your sister would be staying there, too. Then, Bujang said "Oh it's that time of the year again!" and then he perked up a little bit, not too excited, then he showed me images of colorful stuff and noise and activities going on. I could feel that he has seen several years of festivals at your place thus he knows what to expect.

I scanned his body, everything was fine except I felt a little numbness/heaviness on the left cheek, up to the eye. He seemed a bit more relieved after the explanation above. But I can feel he has compassion for Rezki. That's very sweet of him :)

TGIF

I am just hanging out near this window. There is more breeze here which I like. Good Friday to you as well. 

Bird TV

This morning I just looked at San meaningfully and she brought me for a walk. I saw some bird tv. It was very exciting. But after that nothing else happened and so I just sat and looked at the sights. 

    It was cool and quiet and I enjoy that the most. 

Monday with Bujang

Yesterday after asking San again and again I finally got out to walk downstairs. It was not hazy and there was no more more burning if hell money so San borough me down. I sat most of the time in my carrier as I liked watching the happenings but I also got out to walk about and eat grass. 

Here I was making my choice of which blade to eat. 

I also looked around a bit as I have not been downstairs for a long time. 

But I mostly sat here as there were many strange noises and I was nervous after being away for so long. 

       But all in all I had a good time. 

Just Because

Poppy is looking very well. The vet gave her a reduced amount of the steroid for her eczema. He warned that the next one will only be in December. 2 weeks ago she had a swollen right eye and so I brought her to the vet. I hope we can find another solution for her with tcm.
