At The Amigo House

We say goodnight Sunday to all :)

Wild Bunch Sunday

I was glad to see Minah looking well and healthy...

As usual she only ate 1/2 a can before rolling about and grooming herself. She likes some kibble for afters though :)

Putih was looking very well. She is very good-looking and several people had tried to take her home but we would see her just one week after that as she prefers being outdoors I guess and the people were not patient enough to wait. Some of them tell us that she is very fierce but my experience with her has always been very good. The first time I caught her for sterilization, she was very sweet and sat with me calmly. The second time she was also very well-behaved when I had to bring her home as she had to go to the vet. That was her false pregnancy after she was sterilised. I had to give her anti-biotics so she stayed for a few days.

The escape artist...
FatBoy was much more wary of people these days...
Here he looks very thin and he is extremely light.

The aunty came to see him yesterday. She came knocking at my door as she could not find him and he didn't come out when she called. I told her that he would appear at dinner and she should wait at the usual spot. I also warned her that FatBoy looked very thin in case so she would not be shocked. I asked her to come on Monday as I would be bringing him to the vet and as I do not know what the vet would find I thought it would be better if she sees him before we leave for the clinic.

He did not stay with her though but ate his dinner and left. maybe he was getting used to not having her around although the aunty's friend told me that she sometimes sees him walking about at night.
Terror Kitty nowadays eats 1.5 cans instead of the usual 2 cans. He is looking better these days and he is much cleaner too.

FatBoy at Breakfast

I saw FatBoy at about 9.30 am when I was leaving to go to CGH. I gave him some kibble but he didn't want it although I saw him eating it as I left. So when i got home from CGH I decided to give him some wetfood. after some looking, I found him near the carpark and he ran to me as soon as he saw me. I gave him 2 cans of fussiecat salmon and chicken. He ate 1 3/4 cans quite easily and then took a toilet break.

FatBoy, even after 3 times a week of SubQ and more food than he had eaten for many months, still looks very thin. I can see his bony hind quarters and his voice has grown small, rough and quavery. I feel a great deal of anxiety for him and made an appointment for Monday for a blood test and review.

Our Cheshire Kitty

Can you make him out?

Helping san on Saturday

Tanaka: Ok these curtains are for the living room windows san...
Tanaka trying out the new curtains in the bedroom...
The new arrangement with the cat seat allows him to see the outside. He was the first one up...as usual...
Tanaka helped me with the quilts and we decided on the green one...
after much indecision...
on his part...

Goodnight Wednesday

zzz

Its that time...

a little cuddling before the lingzhi and vitamins...
a little cuddling before...

cleaning of gums with biotene gel. His gums (his top left gum section) bled a little although I just used a q-tip gently over them. I cannot use my finger as his gums are tiny and there is no toothbrush so small to use for a kitty.

Thank goodness I don't have to eat any of the meds! But then NO ONE can get me to eat anything I do not want!

Welcome Home YB

YB@cat_aunty gave everyone a fright by disappearing for almost two days. Uncle called the AVA and spoke to the aunties and uncles as well as the cleaners looking for him. When he finally came home, he looked worse for wear and was pretty hungry. But at least he came home safe and sound. No more adventures please YB!

Fastest kitty competition

Tanaka: No, its no use. I would not be able to get into the carrier...
Toro: Sniff! Hmmm interesting...I l_i_k_e it...
Toro would usually be waiting for Bujang to get out of the carrier...
so he could get in. I think he enjoys the new smells of the grass without the danger of having to walk on them :)

Wednesday Walk

Bujang had to take a few minutes before he mustered enough courage for his afternoon walk...
But once he did, there was no stopping him...
Of course there was the inevitable grass munching episode ...
The short rest in between eating grass and following strangers from behind...
He also scrutinized the new table and chairs. This place looked very clean as it was afternoon and the teenagers and young people had not used it as a dumping place for empty noodle bowls, cans and cigarette butts yet. The scene would look very different at night.
He also had agood time wondering who had been in and out of the void deck. Possibly he smelled Minah, FatBoy and Terror Kitty!

Bujang my cat

has a very short attention span as can be seen in our Wednesday video. This also shows he was not much interested in chasing after pigeons but sees them as objects of short interest. The most interesting thing here is how Bujang has learnt not to get tangled up in the leash when he turns around :)
