Goodnight Sunday

Last pictures before bed

Tanaka helping me with work

Tanaka: Ohoh..way too much to do. Best to escape...

Toro sitting calmly to give me strength and inspiration :)

Bujang making away with my project and destroying it at the same time! Posted by Picasa

Sunday Naps

Bujang lulled by the sometime-breeze...
Tanaka decided that a nap is best done alone in the living room...

Megat likes the sound of TV...it makes him sleepy...

Toro decided that under the bed would be the best place. Its cooler and darker and definitely quieter...

san's Helper

Ok san. I fink we do this first. Yup... (pat..pat...)

I like your new linen. It reminds me offur the garden. Btw maybe we can go there again..sometime...

I fink the bed is done. I can stretch myself and there is no crease on the bed. Good work san...

Toro's blanket is the pink one. I had bought this from IKEA and he liked it a lot. The only other kitty that sleeps here is Megat but only in the morning when Toro is not there. The other blanket is where Tanaka sleeps and Bujang too when he feels like it :) But when Bujang decides to sleep on the pink blanket, Toro would sleep on the other one and poor Tanaka would be forced to sleep on the cat seat :)Posted by Picasa

Tanaka's Saturday Evening Out

Hmmm..this smells familiar...

This not so..The nighbours plants smell different from grandma's....

Tanaka showed a lot of curiosity about the neighbour's hell-money bin.

The boys (Toro used to walk here too) like going to this neighbour's house to investigate their plants. Their plants are bigger than those at our house. They do not mind the boys investigating their plants as they have seen Bujang from when he was 6 months out walking. Bujang is now 5 years old :) Posted by Picasa

Tanaka video

This short video is on Tanaka's evening out yesterday , right after Bujang. He likes walking upstairs. He makes a beeline for the upstairs all the time and Bujang would make one downstairs :) I like the way his tail shows in the video and we can see his tuft of white hair right on the tip his tail:)

Bujang's Saturday

Last Friday, Bujang decided to jump to kick the walls! He does this every time he thinks he has had enough of indoor life and to remind me that I have yet to take him out for his walk. This of course is true as the 1st week of week is always very hectic and I would not be able to come home early enough to take him out for his usual evening walks. I know he does not like walking in the dark as the night noises are unfamiliar. He also does not like walking after rain as the grass is wet :)

So I took him out last night before the Earth Day lights out. He put on his harness without fusss and eagerly waited at the door. Then we took off. He went straight across the corridor to our neighbour and then made a turn and walked downstairs :) He prefers to walk downstairs but Tanaka prefers upstairs :) I think he had a good time.

Saturday Evening walk

The plastic flowers quite attracted Bujang...

This smells like...

He stopped to sniff at them. I think he liked the smell of the limes as he stopped for abit here. I was trying to get him to walk away quickly as the neighbour might not like a cat sniffing their limes but Buajng would not be hurried.

Bujang walked past this small garden without giving it even one cursory glance. I guess he didn't care for the ducks and general doemstic animal figurines on the bench.

Is this my house?

Then he walked back and made on stop in front of this door. Our house is right above this one so he got a little confused as to what is where. He looked at the door and grills carefully before deciding to move on. I managed to persuade him to go upstairs. And then he had a tanturm :) Posted by Picasa

I'll do...

I'll do...

Bujang was not pleased when I did not allow him to go downstairs again. He decided to sulk and sit on top of the stairs to see which of us would win. So I decided to let him sit and think about his moves for a while. he decided that the leash was the one thing that prevented him from moving in the direction he wanted and so he decided to teach it a lesson.

Dum..de..dum...

Lalalala...

When THAT did not work out, he decided to fool me by walking upstairs, in the direction that I was leading him. I sat on the steps and watched him. he got onto the one stair behind me and sat down. Then, undeterred, he began again...

and I'll do...

and again and again. 10 minutes later, he heard a noise upstairs and went up to investigate. We walked for another 15 minutes and then we went home. He allowed me to take off his leash without protesting :) Posted by Picasa

Goodnight Sunday

san's helper

Toro likes helping me with office work. He would help to sit on papers, roll pencils and even smell the glue to see if it was safe :) He is a regular office kitty - without an office :)

Bujang enjoying Sunday

Bujang looking at what Sunday brings into the neighbourhood...

I am glad he uses this cat seat sometimes as I had had it made just for him as he has outgrown all the cat seats in the house. This one gives him a lot of space. He can sit as well as lie comfortably in it.

Bujang got sleepy in the Sunday heat...zzzz...

Sunshine Sunday

Yes, its time to get into the swing offur things...
Megat has come a long way from before.
He is now brave enough to do new things in the house..

He enjoys tasting the breeze...

as well as just feeling the breeze in his face...like Toro does...

My cat Megat enjoying Sunday...

I am always glad when Megat tries new things in the house. He has come a long way from the really scared kitty he was before to the sometime-gangsta kitty that he is now. He protects his territory fiercely and does not care whether its Bujang or Toro or Tanaka that he tries to intimidate and sometimes beat up when any one of them dare to walk past him in his 'place'. He sometimes gets beat up by the rest but I guess you take as much as you give in this house.
I am sure he would have agood long life with us and I hope he gets many many good days in his future.

Early Nap

Tanaka decided to take an early nap right after scaring Bujang

...so he can have more naps later....
