As usual, San is trying to keep our end-of-year promise of posting once a day so we can finish the year on a good note. She tried to put the tree away, but we convinced her to leave it up until Chinese New Year because it makes the house feel more festive.
Our only wish for 2026 is good health. That feels like the right wish, especially since San keeps telling us to do the laundry because she thinks it’s Saturday—when it’s actually only Friday. Hopefully, she gets the hang of things soon
We leave our tree up at least until January 6th, usually longer. :)
ReplyDeleteI, like Pilch92, leave my tree up until Twelfth Night. The room always seems empty once it is taken down. And I wish good health to you in 2026, as well.
ReplyDeleteI agree, health is a very good thing to work toward. Leave the tree up a little while, and maybe take it down in stages, it's less of a sudden shock.
