A cold front

These few days saw Singapore freezing and last Thursday the weather actually hit an all time low of 21 degrees. San has taken to wearing socks around the house but our auntie told her she should wear warmer slippers. San also put out a warmer rug for us near the family space as we like being there and San knows the floor is close to freezing (and we are near the Equator).

Bujang: Last night San put out all the blankets and when she was brushing her teeth I decided to sit on her blanket and Tanaka sat on mine. We left San with a smaller blanket but she didn’t mind that as I sat close to her to keep her warm. We had the fan on as San didn’t like the stuffiness in the room as we could not open the windows for the rain.

  1. Sorry it has been so cold there, friends. Stay warm and dray, okay?

  2. Dear friends, we hope you will forgive a little smile at our end? For us 21C is beautiful, balmy weather! Everything is relative, of course, so it must indeed feel very cool to you, even cold. As you are experiencing, blankies are a lovely way to deal with cooler weather!

  3. Being cozy in one of your lovely cat condos is a great way to stay warm too. My Holly has extra blankets to help keep warm. I am afraid our cold has been down to -21. But our home is very warm.

  4. We don’t like when the floor is cold either. When we jump up on our mum, she feels sorry for us when our feet aren’t warm. She keeps our house very warm inside for us though. Lots of lovely blankets to cuddle into are so delightful.
San always finds the best blankets for her photos!
