Life is good.

 Finally all my vet visits are over for the year. I am good and very well. My kidneys are ok and my urine test went well. I just had one tooth extraction. San was very anxious about the whole thing. San was worried as Momo is only 5 and she has kidney issues. The vet said that it could be hereditary as we are Persian cats. I am 6 already although san does not know for sure. Life is good for us as eventhough Momo  has some problems, we will be able to cope with it. 

Meditations …

 San brought me to the vet yesterday as she was worried that I had not put on much weight. But after some tests the vet told her that I had kidney issues and I am only 5 years old. My creatinine was 2.7 and my urine was not as concentrated as the vet would like. The vet recommend dry kidney diet as he said I should put on weight first and a wet diet does not allow me to gain any weight. San thought perhaps a combination might be the answer and she would discuss this with the vet tomorrow when Sky goes for her annual checkup as well.  

Easy Peasy Sunday

 

San told us that the days for winding down a little are here. She was out last weekend and saw that Christmas ornaments were out. She bought us a little Christmas ornament for Christmas cheer. San said next week she may try to persuade Manju to walk outside for a bit , perhaps in the early morning as Manju has been nervous at night. Last night she had to carry him from the kitchen to the room to sleep as it was raining and he didn’t like rain at all. 

Humans are funny.

 

Playful Sunday

San bought us a tunnel to play in. But we didn’t run into the tunnel much. We preferred to jump over it. It’s so much more fun. 
 

Momo of cos didn’t like the tunnel much as she didn’t like the idea of not being able to see the end of it. She prefers to play by herself. She loves plastic so san folded her a toy from it. She made a lot of noise. We thought she was trying to tell us that she was a clever kitty and wanted us to admire her skills. 

We had a very good week of playing and running in the house. 

Harness Training

Slow and steady. Manju had first rolled about the floor and refused to get up. After a minute or two he realised that he could walk with it and so he did. Today is his first day. I thought if he could master the harness, he could walk outside easily during the evenings with me. I hope he would persevere.
